Flex Dance Convention is dedicated to providing an enriching and safe experience for all dancers. Our commitment to community, growth, movement, and learning is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to address all your inquiries to ensure a smooth and exciting convention experience.
How is Flex Dance Convention different from other conventions?
Flex Dance Convention is more than just a dance class; it is a comprehensive training opportunity for dancers aged 7 and up. We offer a unique blend of technique building, choreography exploration, and a fun, community-focused environment with industry-leading choreographers and instructors. Our goal is to foster growth, movement, and learning where every dancer has a chance to shine.
By keeping our numbers smaller, we can ensure that every dancer is seen, supported and actively engaged in every class.
Our goal is create an environment where dancers are not lost in the crowd, but instead receive the technical training, individual attention and hands-on-guidance. Our flex crew will be in the room supporting dancers as required.
Is there a viewing area for parents?
Unfortunately at this location we do not have a viewing area for Parents. As an added safety feature, our Flex Crew will be on hand to help with anything your child may require during the convention.
We do have a videographer attending so make sure to check out our Instagram after the event for footage.
My child has an allergy?
Please speak directly to a Flex Crew Member at registration for more information on our policies around epi-pens and allegies.
My child won a scholarship.
Congratulations! Once you click to register there will be an option for you to add all the information needed. We cant wait to see you at our 2027 event!
What does my child need to bring for the day?
Dancers should bring comfortable dance attire suitable for various styles, appropriate dance shoes (jazz, ballet, hip-hop, etc.), a water bottle and peanut/tree nut free snacks.
It is also a good idea to bring a small bag to keep personal belongings organized.
Where do I drop off and pick up?
Specific drop-off and pick-up instructions will be provided closer to the convention date via email and on our website.
Please ensure you adhere to these guidelines for the safety and efficiency of all participants.
As Flex Dance Convention is a drop off event you can be rest assured your dancer will be in a safe, controlled enviornment.
Our Flex Crew will also be in every room to provide assistance to the younger dancers if required.
Is merch available on the day of the event?
All Merch should be ordered at registration. You will receive your Merch order on the day of the event. If something happens and you do not attend reach out to us and we will be happy to help your merch find its way to you!
Refund Policy
Flex Dance Convention Refund is as follows:
A Full credit for use at another Flex Dance Convention will be issued for injury with a doctors note. Doctors note and reason for absence must be emailed to Flex Dance Convention prior to the convention commencing.
All other refunds are at the discretion of Flex Dance Convention.
My child was asked to be part of the Flex Crew
Congratulations! Your dancer left an impression on our Flex Crew and was chosen to be part of our 2027/28 Flex Crew.
There is no need to come back, right after your event, our videographer will be ready to film. Filming will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby.
As a thank you from us, your child will receive some Flex Merch and a scholarship to attend another event! You will also receive information throughout the year to share with friends on social media.
